Now Live: Adventurine Art Studio at Trellis & Vine Gallery and Studios

I am on a journey — one filled with entrepreneurial spirit, artistic expression, and coffee‑flavored dreams. It is not a journey full of straight lines; rather, it has taken many twists and turns along the way. It has cut through dark valleys and peaked at stunning vistas. But mostly, it has been a slow, simple journey — trekking through the woods, one foot in front of the other — just my kind of speed.

Today, I’d love to share a mountaintop moment with you: my official vendor display at Trellis & Vine, a fine art gallery for emerging artists in Greater Nashville, Tennessee, is LIVE. Theresa and Ben Alley, the gallery owners, are a creative couple who envisioned a space where emerging fine artists could gather, grow, and launch into their creative careers. Poised as the trellis supporting the vine sprouts of emerging artists, they have been doing just that since 2022.

Late last summer, I officially joined the ranks with my art studio display. This was such a special moment for me, as Ben and Theresa encouraged me to take my first concrete step toward marketing, displaying, and promoting my work in person, out in the big, wide world.

Creating the display was an enormous bundle of fun. I had the chance to curate not only the physical aesthetics connected to my brand but also the key visuals that capture the heart and spirit of my work.

Old wooden crates, antique ladders, and burlap coffee sacks from Magnolia House Antiques set the cozy, mismatched, earthy tonal backdrop I was looking for. Since my work is fairly vibrant, I like to incorporate more natural, grounding elements when designing digital visuals — and it was invigorating to see that come to life in my physical display as well.

Next came all the little touches of color, shape, and personality that breathe life into my nature‑loving, adventure‑spirited brand. Distressed leather loafers, cozy plants and mini‑lights, stacks of naturalist and adventure books, coffee canisters, and a vintage suitcase complemented the crowning gem of the display - all the artwork!

My Adventurine Art Studio display at Trellis & Vine brings together original artwork, bold giclée prints, wrapped canvases, and fine stationery — a small collection of pieces rooted in nature, home, and everyday life. The final additions — marketing materials, signage, and labels — tied everything together, blending practical details with inspiring aesthetics.

Overall, creating this space was a huge success and couldn’t have been done without the tireless energy of my thrifting partner‑in‑crime, the fabulous Elizabeth; the creative freedom, unending encouragement, and curator’s eye of the charming Theresa; the handy skills and positivity of Benjamin; the kid‑approved human jungle gym that is Paul; and the bundles of joy emanating from my favorite little people, F & F.

I am so thankful for this sun‑filled moment and thrilled to be on board at Trellis & Vine as I continue along my adventurin’ journey. If you are local to Greater Nashville and want to continue — or start — curating your own art collection, I highly recommend stopping by Trellis & Vine. There is a wide variety of work — in size, style, price, and finish — from so many incredible artists waiting to be discovered.

Come wander through the gallery and say hello to my little corner of color and nature. Explore my display to browse my work while enjoying a little Colombian coffee treat — a sweet, sticky candy I discovered while traveling through South America.

Are you a gallery owner or exhibit curator? My door is open for collaborations, commissioned work, and wholesale opportunities.

So, what about you — have you had any sunny vista moments along your journey lately? I’d love to celebrate with you.

Until next time,
